These are not heavy duty, I wouldn't even call them medium weight, so I feel as if they were somewhat overpriced. However, they do cover the whole floor of my 2008 Commander. The one on the passenger side isn't cut quite right, it doesn't lay quite as flat as the others, but it does the job. Also, they aren't as shiny a black color as portrayed in the pictures, I had to shine mine up to get a similar effect, and the grooves aren't as pronounced either. I can't tell what kind of material they are made from, but it does appear that they would be waterproof.
