True, these hooks take a bit more to install than you might be expecting, but this is a nice quality product and I couldn't be happier with the results. I did buy longer bolts because it looked like the factory bolts would have only been able to grab maybe 2 or 3 threads, and I wouldn't trust that. 6 M10 bolts, 35 MM long, plus 6 flat washers worked perfectly for me. The 35 MM length means they go all the way through the nut clip, but they aren't so long that they get in the way of anything else. I also chose to trim my lower valance so that the hook was completely unobstructed. I can see how it might not be necessary to trim the valance, but I like it better trimmed. I did some other work on my front bumper while I had it off, but I think if I was just installing these hooks and doing nothing else, I probably could have completed the install in a little over an hour total. Even an inexperienced installer should be able to install these in 2-3 hours, provided you have the tools and some longer bolts.The final product is very secure and very strong and looks perfect on the front of my Jeep. I couldn't be happier.
