I've been eyeing these doors for some time now. I'm not familiar with Hooke Road, but for me, these doors looked better than some of the other, known, brand options out there. And they didn't disappoint! So here are the pros and cons:Pros:- Gives my Wrangler the look I want plus adds some minor privacy when the mesh covers are applied. My Wrangler's profile just flows so much better from front to back with these doors on.- Gives my passengers some extra safety and assurance while also providing us with the free and open-air experience Wranglers are known for.- Weighs significantly less than factory doors. However, I doubt I'll see much improvement in fuel economy because of other after-market additions.- Provides a bit more room for entry than factory doors as the tubular doors have a slightly slimmer profile.- (Maybe Hooke Road listened to their customers, because...) the door straps provided with my order have plenty of leeway for swinging. (Please see picture.)Cons:- No directions for assembly! Fortunately, the pictures Hooke Road provides online show proper door hinge alignment and fabric overlay.- No directions for fastener order. You have to make some logical guesses on the bolt, locking washer, washer, and nut orders. I feel like this kit would've benefitted from having another set of washers for the inner door fastening.- One of my door swing strap plates' assembly holes were cut out roughly 1/4" too shallow. I couldn't get this one plate to align with both the door and hinge assembly, so I had to install it backward. Remarkably, this did not impede entry through my driver's side. (Please see picture.)- There was one area where the paint was chipped. It was on the interior of the driver's side door. Honestly, though, it's not a big deal. We're talking about a Wrangler, after all.Overall, these doors are a lot of fun! They look great, feel sturdy, ride quietly, and the price point ($292.26 TOTAL at the time of this review) is hard to beat. I've driven with and without my top and/or doors several times over the years. It's a great experience! I feel like these tubular doors both add more riding options and provide a sleek look.Just some advice when assembling: hand-tighten everything first, then apply the doors to your Wrangler, one at a time, making sure both the upper and lower door hinges are fully inserted into the hinge receivers and that the door latch is aligned with - and inserted into - the latch striker. (I had to use a rubber mallet on a couple of hinges.) Once that's done, torque tighten away! Also, one of the other reviewers suggested using some thread locker and it's not a bad idea.
